Gwenwatch, the Revenge!
Gwen bit me! I just caught her outside her basement lair for a lengthy drink, gave her a hamster treat, tapped at her cage a little bit in front of her and she bit me! I must have been asking for it - the hamster treat smell was probably on my finger and all. Fortunately for me, Gwen is an old weakling so no damage was caused, other than the bruising of my self esteem of course.

They're more so when they get older and especially when they're sick. Also, if Hamsters aren't held regularly in childhood, they can develop an aversion to the human hand.
I doubt it was the Hamster treat smell so much, you should probably just avoid getting too close.
Posted by: Kevin at October 28, 2005 05:46 PMI don't know, she can handle the humans a bit at least. She gets pretty excited sometimes if you motivate her with tapping and such. I'm sure you're right about hamsters overall though.
