I was Wrong!

My country didn't completely fail me afterall... The US men's curling team won their bronze medal match with some excellent shot making down the stretch. In fact, they sealed the match with... wait for it...

THE HAMMER!

Yes, they call something in curling "the hammer."

In other news, I am against the wall today physically, in what you might call full zombie modeā„¢. I would appreciate any distraction assistance possible, whether it be stopping in, calling, or getting some emails or comments going. When the weather changes rapidly as has been the case often this winter, I really get hit hard, and when you factor in surgery and the stress of my current health situation it can get pretty brutal. I've been fighting pretty hard though and I'm staying on top of it, but it's always good to get a lift from external sources.

What???? You were wrong???? Never! I am stunned; I am shocked; I am ... ooh, there is just no word that captures the absolute ___ of it! Quoth the raven, "Andy has erred." Nooooooooooo!!!

Now, just a minute! At first, being so overwhelmed by the abovementioned statement, I missed what you actually said about the curling event. Where did they get the seal? And, did you say that they then put a match to the poor seal? Really, I am appalled! The very idea! Son, I absolutely forbid you to even think of watching the USA in curling their matches, (or was it their hair?), ever again. Do you hear me?!

You're forgetting that seals have to be clubbed in order to keep the population at manageable levels.
