To summarize...
Ok, so based on what I heard last night, it seems the party will look something like this.
Amy - Human Druid
Andy(Matus) - Human Priest
Ben - Human Rogue
Collin - Human or Dwarf Mage
Kevin - Elven Ranger
We still have the possibility of Dave and/or Josh joining us. It looks like I might end up being the Melee guy. :)
Yes, an interesting lineup. You might want to consider posting on the optimization boards for group strategy advice. My personal sense is that you'd want the druid and cleric in the front rather than the ranger, but it depends on the builds everybody uses.
Posted by: the prophet Harakhet at January 16, 2006 03:30 PMI don't know how possible this is... since the game is going to require a lot of planning and energy on Andy's part... but is it possible to move the game around a bit and have it at different locations to help accomodate some of our Towson natives. I don't know if anyone has officially brought this up, but it might increase our player pool for this game.
Posted by: Kevin at January 19, 2006 06:20 PMWe're starting here. If here works, here it will stay if that is at all possible. The ride to and from places kills me already, and running a game will be plenty on my plate, not to mention being beholden to someone to get me there in time to set up and get comfortable with material before it starts.
If here doesn't work for space reasons, we can explore alternatives, preferably close by.
Posted by: the prophet Harakhet at January 19, 2006 07:51 PMWell, location does not effect me playing but i can see playing in BFE being a problem. It is a good 2 hour round trip for several of our players and we have already lost one good player to the drive. (which is disconcerting) I would also second the alternating of locations if that would help maintain what players we have coming from a distance and possibly get back our lost player as well.
Posted by: TricMarcoon at January 22, 2006 08:12 PMWell depending on certain situations I may be able to offer my house as a meeting place, it's not huge but it would probably be able to hold everyone, and it is semi close to Andy's, though the drive will still be long for some. Again this isn't an offer so much as an idea, I would have to pass this by the wifey first.
Posted by: Josh at January 24, 2006 02:59 PMI know that i can host the game here once or twice a month.. i could talk to rebecca about more. But that leads back into that game being in alternating locations.
Andy & Kenny: If the game is hosted at my place at any point in time, you are more than welcome to come over a couple hours early to get yourself situated and prepare.
If you want to call me i would be happy to discuss some options, after i discuss them with my wife.
